South African Airways

South African Airways has emerged as one of the leading carriers to Africa. They offer a large route network in Africa, flying to a vast number of destinations, including Johannesburg. South African Airways has evolved and can now introduce their new A330-200 aircraft. The A330-200 long-range jetliner is the first of six new aircraft being added to SAA’s fleet. The new plane forms part of the national carrier’s fleet renewal project, with new, more efficient aircraft replacing the older ones.

Not only are SAA developing their planes, they are also introducing a new network expansion plan, which will result in an increase in the frequency of its flights and seat availability on some of their routes. Also, to reduce travel times and promote fast and efficient connections, SAA now offer a new non-stop service between Johannesburg and New York, effective from the 1st May.To add to their developments, they have recruited a new member to their team, a new country manager, Gary Kershaw. Michael Bentele, SAA Head of Europe states, “We warmly welcome Gary Kershaw to the SAA family. With his extensive experience in the airline industry, he is the ideal candidate to fulfill a vital role at South African Airways”.
