Itineraries

We’ll tailor your holiday itinerary to suit your requirements and the sample itineraries featured on our website are an illustration of the range of possibilities we offer, highlighting the prime wilderness areas and some of the particularly special camps and lodges on offer for our guests.

With a base in Zambia and our valued relationships with local operators, camps and lodges in Africa, we have our finger on the pulse of what we can offer you. Over time, we have been asked to arrange a variation of itineraries around Africa and we now offer superb safari experiences in the east and southern region.

Many of our guests choose to extend their holiday by combining their safari with a few days in South Africa, particularly the Cape Province. Others prefer to relax on the beach after their safari adventure, and we offer fabulous ‘bush and beach’ extensions in Malawi.

We cater for independent travellers, couples, honeymooners, families and groups. We find that the optimum group size is between 4 to 6 guests in order to get the most of your game viewing experience, although depending on the type of accommodation selected, larger group sizes can be accommodated.

All of our safaris are arranged on a non-privately guided basis, where you join other guests at each camp for your game viewing activities and are guided by one of the resident camp guides.

The prices shown on our website are on this basis. Alternatively, you can choose to travel throughout all or part of your safari itinerary with a private guide and have use of a private vehicle for game activities. This is offered at an additional cost but would significantly enhance your safari experience, particularly if you have special interests such as bird spotting or photography. Your Budget

Each itinerary is based on accommodation with a standard, mid-range or up-market rating. Your quote will therefore vary depending on the type of accommodation you select for your safari. Also, accommodation mentioned in any itinerary is only a guideline. Africabound Adventures reserves the right to make use of similar accommodation that would suit your selected budget in your final itinerary.
