KLM recently announced the very exciting news that they will commence direct flights between Amsterdam and Lusaka, 3 times a week starting on the 15th of May 2012.

Flights will leave Schiphol at 12:30hrs on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, arriving in Lusaka at 22:10. They will then depart from Lusaka at 23:55 hrs arriving back in Amsterdam at 09:55 the following morning.

So, if you'll be leaving Zambia on these KLM scheduled flights, arrangements will be made to meet and greet you when you arrive in the evening from the bush. We will drive you to a restaurant and look after your bags whilst you enjoy dinner before returning back to check-in for the late evening flight!

What exciting news now that there's more choices to fly to Zambia!  Combine this choice with Emirates starting their schedules into Lusaka in February, there's now less of an excuse not to plan ahead and book that special safari!
